Goals

“To certify phlebotomy professionals based upon what they know rather than how they learned”.

By providing multiple avenues NPCE is able to conduct the most cultivating continuing education certification available. The phlebotomy industry is only regulated in a few states. We at NPCE feel that there are less than five percent of accredited phlebotomy programs in today’s education market. Many phlebotomists do not get the proper training and certification to practice in the phlebotomy field. With our continuing education program, phlebotomists are able to revisit many subjects that didn’t get enough attention during their initial study. To those phlebotomist that took the phlebotomy program at a accredited university or college our goal is to conduct the most advanced continuing education program available.

The National Phlebotomy Continuing Education believes that life long learning is a requirement for all phlebotomists.  The Continuing Education program within the NPCE Research and Professional Development Business Unit serves as a provider of continuing education for phlebotomists. The National Phlebotomy Continuing Education Organization provides continuing education programs that build on basic phlebotomy education and provide for ongoing development of the phlebotomy workforce.
