NPCE has realized a recent increase in demand for continuing education, and has in reply created a program designed for the phlebotomist.


Continuing education helps employers retain better Phlebotomists while remaining as competitive as ever.   A more educated phlebotomist will always be more productive, so companies have now started hiring phlebotomists who are continuing with their education. Continuing education can be seen as a way to retain the better, more educated phlebotomists.

A December 2007 Phlebotomy study conducted by the Society for Human Resource Management and the Career Journal, an online section of The Wall Street Journal, found that 44 percent of U.S. medical companies offer some kind of professional development.
