- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be 18 years old
- 3-5 years Active Phlebotomy Experience current within the last 5 years (based on teaching experience, leadership roles and supervisory experience)

The NPCE Phlebotomy Instructor Certification examination is 88 questions in multiple choice format. Candidates must obtain a minimum of 70% to successfully pass the exam. Once all coursework and the examination is completed, candidates will receive their National Instructor Certification, professional badge and lanyard. The digital certificate in PDF format will arrive within 24-48 hours via email and the hard copy and badge will be delivered via mail within 7-10 business days.
